BestMassage Participates in the 2013 Ohio Council of Massage

"BestMassage chose to include a coupon in the registration bags that will be distributed at the conference. The coupon offers $20 off a purchase of $100 or more."

This past month, BestMassage received an email from Wendy Jo Marsinek, LMT, BCTM, who is one of the coordinators of this year's Ohio Council of Massage Therapy Schools (OCMTS) Teachers' and Administrators' Conference. The email requested BestMassage's participation in this year's conference because the OCMTS recognizes BestMassage - the international massage table and supplies warehouse - as a leader in the massage industry with a market in Ohio.

Who is the OCMTS? A mission statement of the OCMTS appears on its blog page: "We disseminate information from the State Medical Board, national, professional massage organizations, conferences, industry trends, etc. We act as a conduit for discussion about what is important to massage therapy in Ohio and beyond."

Amona Buechler, owner of BestMassage is excited about the opportunity to participate in the conference this year. "We at BestMassage are honored that the OCMTS deemed us a leader in the massage industry. We take pride that we have a strong retail presence in Ohio," she said.

This year, BestMassage chose to include a coupon in the registration bags that will be distributed at the conference. The coupon offers $20 off a purchase of $100 or more. There are no restrictions on what types of massage products a customer can purchase to amount to $100, but it is an online offer only and requires a discount code at checkout.

According to Marisnek's email, the Ohio Council of Massage Therapy Schools Teachers' and Administrators' Conference is "the only educational gathering for all Ohio massage therapy educators, as well as workshops for massage therapy students." Beuchler sees the opportunity to participate in the conference as a way to further BestMassage's presence in Ohio. "With this conference we will be reaching both educators and students. This is a great way to introduce ourselves to new customers as well as welcome back bodyworkers who have done business with us in the past," she said.

The Ohio Council of Massage Therapy Schools Teachers' and Administrators' Conference is scheduled to run from August 17th-18th, 2013 in the Crowne Plaza in Columbus, OH.
