As Summer Cools Off, Theater Venue Warms To Music

Harmony Presents Expands To Include Renowned Musicians In Its Lineup

Harmony Presents announces its Fall lineup today, and while the performance venue is known for plays and concerts at the Hawley Silk Mill and around the Hawley community, the new lineup emphasizes music events and performances. The upcoming dates include international harp player Dan Lavoie, folk musician Robert Tellefsen, and an accomplished pianist from Billy Joel's hit Broadway musical Movin' Out, Wade Preston, also known as "the Piano Man."

"We're taking advantage of the change in season to expand on our venue's versatility and attract out-of-town visitors," says Jill Carletti, Managing Director of Harmony Presents. "We see our stage as a setting for many genres of performance art, music being one of the most important. The goal from the start was to be a beacon for arts and culture in our community, and with these highly regarded musicians sharing their work with us, we're taking a big step forward in that vision."
