2nd Annual Toys for Tots "Drive-Thru" Donation Event December 2nd 2010
Greensburg, PA- Westmoreland County Young Democrats (WCYD) and the Women of Westmoreland (WOW) are partnering with Toys for Tots (www.toysfortots.org) to collect toy donations Thursday, December 2nd from 4pm to 7pm at the Greensburg Courthouse Plaz
Online, November 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Greensburg, PA- Westmoreland County Young Democrats (WCYD) and the Women of Westmoreland (WOW) are partnering with Toys for Tots (www.toysfortots.org) to collect toy donations Thursday, December 2nd from 4pm to 7pm at the Greensburg Courthouse Plaza on the corner of Otterman and Main Streets. Volunteers will be posted at the corner of Main and Otterman to collect new, unwrapped toys directly from vehicles, without holding up traffic. We'll have the kids from the local NHS Schools caroling during the event along with some hot chocolate and cookies for everyone.
This event also coincides with Greensburg Luminary Night that is sponsored by the Greensburg Business Association (GBA). So come on down and enjoy a free horse and carriage ride, carolers, discounts and refreshments at many of the downtown stores.
